My brother and I bought a property that has a main house and a guest house. There is one mortgage…so my brother and I are cosigned in on the same loan. He was living in the main house, but recently moved out-of-state. He has renters in his house right now. I still reside in the guest house.

The guest house is located behind the main house. The property takes up 12 lots total. We have one big, huge lawn.

We had an agreement that he would pay for the trash and water bill. I was paying for the internet bill and we were sharing. Recently the guys in the main house decided to get cable internet and decided to share the wireless internet with me. I got rid of my current ISP provider because the internet was down a lot lately and if it was up, it was slow.

So, now I am wondering is it ethical for us to share internet on the property? They locked down the router but gave me the password and said I don’t need to pay. Some people would view this as a dream situation. I guess it feels strange to have internet and not be paying the bill.

One one hand, I feel like maybe it is okay because really the property is technically a unit with one mortgage. The terms of service for the ISP provider say that internet is for “one household.” In this case, i think since there is one mortgage, maybe it is one household.

I tried just chatting with the ISP provider online and tried to explain the situation. Immediately they were asking for my address. I didn’t see how this was important as I was asking if this was ethical. I didn’t provide the address. Then I was transferred to another rep and he was quickly asking for my address. I felt like 1) the company reps weren’t even willing to ask a supervisor about this 2) They maybe were looking to “bust” me when I am not sure a busting situation is warranted.

I have been very divided on the issue and want very much to be honest…but I am not sure if I am “in the clear” or not. It would be nice if I could save over $400 a year since I am working a job that doesn’t pay well.

I have talked to my tech guy at work, he thought it was fine since the guys in the main house willingly gave me their password. I consulted a mentor, and she thought it was fine since there was one mortgage. Then I consulted a lawyer friend and he was pretty much like “I don’t know.”

I think I can be a little neurotic and overly responsible sometimes. So I sometimes think I maybe should just pay for my own internet so I can stop thinking about then. Then on the other hand I wonder if that is kind of dumb because I have super fast internet…often four bars out of five, and there is technically one mortgage.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ok so I’m not fat but I have an athletic body. So all my fat goes to my legs and bum. But I do have a little bit on my hips
and have very little on my stomach and arms. Just a little. I’m 5’9, 13 years old and weigh about 144. I just wished I looked a little better. I have been working out all summer with a trainer and have been only drinking water, no soda. And that got me stronger. I didn’t lose any weight. If any I gained a few. School starts in a week and I just want to look and feel a little better. And I’m sick of running. But if I have to I’ll do it. I play volleyball and basketball. And don’t give me any crap about like “your at a heathy weight” blah blah. I know this should be the weight I should be at but I don’t want to be at this weight. Thanks :)

I am spending a few weeks in Europe this summer traveling. What are my best options as far as mobile phone service goes?

Option 1: Unlock my personal cell phone (ATT iphone) and buy SIM cards online. Connect over GSM (sp?)
Option 2: Purchase Skype plan to call mobiles and landlines back home in the USA

I am obviously trying to avoid purchasing an international plan through ATT as the rates seem very high to me.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I am pretty computer savvy. so im pretty sure i can set up a NAS cloud at my house. my family has business uses for it and i have personal. i figured with a 2T HDD, that should cover pretty much everything. i have over 300 movies at my house and would like to be able to have them on my NAS and be able to watch them from my ps3, or computer or cell phone or wherever. i saw this on new egg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822336017

i dont know the first thing about these NAS systems. can i make multiple logins with dedicated memory for each users? also, ive gone onto FTP sites for my work and you can access them like as if they were folders on your computer. can i have this option with this?

so in short,
can i make multiple user logins with dedicated storage for users and restrict them from one another?
Can i access the files through windows file explorer?
would i be able to stream movies from it?
is the one i show a good one?
do you know of a better one?
is there anything else i should know?

thanks for all the help.
